The Raider freshmen fell behind early in their season opener at Walled Lake Northern before mounting an impressive comeback that eventually came up short 45-38. Alex Vista led North with 8 points, followed by Carter Short with 7, Rayshon Mathews 6, Henry Russell 5, and Josh & Noah Rioux 4 apiece. The Raiders return to action Tuesday at Redford Union (3:45) then Wednesday at Walled Lake Western (4:00).
