The North Farmington JV (3-2) earned their third straight victory and a city championship with an exciting, hard-fought 47-46 victory over cross-town rival Farmington at home yesterday. Lee Hardy had big night for the Raiders with 21 points including the game-winning basket and then a key blocked shot at the buzzer to end the Falcon's hopes in front of a sold-out crowd. Landy Smith played his best game of the season with 10 points and Dewayne Ray added 9 while controlling the tempo for North. The Raiders open OAA Red league play Tuesday at Ferndale with a 5:30 start.
