It was an exciting track and field evening at North Farmington. The Lady Raiders earned a close victory over West Bloomfield. Every event counted and it came down to the last event the 4x400 Relay to decide the meet. West Bloomfield had a narrow lead 62-61 going into the 1600 Relay. The Raiders won the event earning the five points and won the meet 66 to 62. 

First place finishes occurred in the 3200 Relay (Whitney Reid, Emma Anzivino, Victoria Greenbaum & Alyssa Peek), Kamyilah Peoples in the Long Jump and the 100 Hurdles, Emma Anzivino in the 1600 Run, Alyssa Peek in the 800 Run, Whitney Reid in the 3200 Run, Hailey Samples in the Discus, Jenna Lee in the High Jump and the aforementioned 1600 Relay team consisting of Allie Schultz, Syd Schultz, Christine Song and Victoria Greenbaum.

Second place finishes were earned by Alyssa Murphy in the 100 & 400 Dashes, Jenna Lee in the 300 Hurdles, Victoria Greenbaum in the 800 Run, Emma Anzivino in the 3200 Run, and Hailey Samples in the shot put.

Third place finishes included Christine Song in the 800 Run, Alyssa Murphy in the 200 and Jade Rollins in the High Jump. 

It was a total team effort and I am proud how the team continues to improve and are coming together as a whole! Congrats ladies!!
